Macron won the election in France which means the EU leaders breathe a sigh of relief and the whole system hobbles along……Le Pen won’t just go away though and neither will the trends that led to her rise….the next few years should be interesting to say the least…..will fear, instability and a broken system lead to her further rise or will real change herald a breakthrough for the masses? For now the globalists rejoice at a failed uprising and challenge to the status quo….

The deal that ignited an uprising…that you’ve probably never heard of…in 2009 a South Korean company, Daewoo, tried to buy half of Madagascar’s arable land for 99 years (they would have mowed down all of the forest to grow corn and biofuels)…..unbelievable! good on the people for rising up and putting a stop to it
The realities of power and change- Google woos Republicans- after years of Democrat bias– money still flows to both parties though- big corps always have their pulse on the lever of power wherever they may land…….
JEFTA- another corporate trade deal being worked on in the background, between Japan and the EU…..of course with the EU showing cracks in unity and more and more countries wanting independence from the bureaucracy this may end up being a no-go anyways….

China’s garbage issues esp regarding incineration (which creates dioxins, etc. that end up accumulating at the north and south poles) for more on that phenomenon check out ‘Cold, Clear, and Deadly’ by Melvin Visser
Contrary to popular belief, not all Trump stands for is bad but much is…. and the two main issues that have the broadest impact are nuclear proliferation and the environment………More nukes! Stronger nukes! Trump’s talk of being top dog with nukes is insanity…..also the evisceration of environmental protection is concerning
Deep sea mining for rare-earth metals being considered despite concerns– the addiction to technology is a tough nut to crack
China bans carfentenil– a good move to stop a hideous drug epidemic- sadly the people pumping out these drugs seems to be able to produce new substances far faster than authorities can enact laws to stop them…but that is whole other issue….
Stories from the last few weeks…..
This one tickled my funny bone….Drone blasted out of the sky by Virginia woman
Sugar industry paid scientists to direct blame at fat; reminds me of the tobacco industry tactics…..
from 1993 to 2009. We note that while the human population has increased by 23% and the world economy has grown 153%, the human footprint has increased by just 9%. Still, 75% the planet’s land surface is experiencing measurable human pressures. Moreover, pressures are perversely intense, widespread and rapidly intensifying in places with high biodiversity.
5G wireless networks set to be unleashed despite risks to health ; when will it ever be fast enough?
China ends one child policy– major change for the world’s most populous nation
Chemicals in sunscreen are hurting the world’s coral reefs– not to mention harming your personal health! Perhaps we should ban these substances and only allow non-toxic versions…just a thought
Saudi company harvests hay and tests Arizona’s supply of groundwater- all to feed cattle for dairy operations back home in Saudi Arabia; the crazy thing is they’ve done it at home & realized it wasn’t sustainable so they simply went international and dumped the problem elsewhere…. seems like a familiar story , the corporate mentality in all it’s glory
Negative interest rates hit Sweden encouraging spending and punishing savers– financial insanity ? or prudent management? one is for sure though is that Sweden is the country that is closest to being cashless however there is a growing backlash…..
Trudeau vaults to power as Canadians boot out Harper – ushering in an era of reduced militarism and fully legal cannabis
